1. Controller and contact
SZMM INVEST LTD, a private company limited by shares registered in the Republic of Cyprus under number HE 498139, is the controller for personal data processed in connection with this website and our business correspondence. Our registered office is Evrypidou 15, Strovolos, 2007 Nicosia, Cyprus. Our business contact address is Peristeriou 1 Α, 6018, Larnaca, Cyprus.
For privacy enquiries or requests, contact info@szmminvest.eu or +357 95 145006. This policy concerns our corporate website, eBook writing enquiries and corporate communications. Personal data processed within an agreed writing project may also be subject to its project-specific terms and, where applicable, a data processing agreement.
2. Information and the email preparation form
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send: for example, your name, email address, telephone number, business details, project brief, manuscripts, correspondence and related documents. We use another organisation’s representative details as business contact information.
The website form lets you enter your name, email address, enquiry subject and message. Its “Prepare email” button uses those entries in your browser to request a draft in your own email application. The form has no website submission endpoint, does not automatically send a message and does not store the entries in the website’s browser storage. We receive the message only when you send it through your email application. Your email provider and browser may separately handle drafts or autofill under their own settings.
Hosting and security providers may process technical request data, including IP address, request time, requested page, browser information, response status and security events, to deliver and protect the website. The company-authored website has no user accounts, checkout, payment form, analytics script or advertising pixel.
Please send only information relevant to your enquiry. Do not include passwords, card details or unnecessary sensitive personal data. If a project requires confidential manuscripts or information about identifiable individuals, agree the appropriate transfer method and intended use with us first. If we receive your business contact details from another person, we use them for the related communication and provide the information required by applicable law.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiries to respond, understand the requested writing work and prepare proposals. Where you seek or enter a contract with us personally, this is based on steps requested before a contract or performance of the contract, under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Correspondence with company representatives is based on our legitimate interest in professional relationships under Article 6(1)(f).
We also rely on legitimate interests to operate and secure the website, prevent misuse and establish, exercise or defend legal claims, taking account of the rights of the individuals concerned. Processing required by an applicable statutory obligation is based on Article 6(1)(c). Where an optional activity requires consent, we will request it separately.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell personal data or use the website to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means. Supplying a manuscript for a writing enquiry does not authorise us to publish it, use it for unrelated promotion or submit confidential personal information for AI model training.
4. Recipients and transfers
Access is limited to authorised personnel and service providers needed for email, hosting, security, administration and agreed project work. External editorial contributors or other project providers, if engaged, receive only information required for their assignment and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection arrangements. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive information where necessary for their role or required by law.
The company’s participation in RESTITUIT HOLDINGS SE does not itself authorise the circulation of your correspondence within that group. If a necessary provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You may contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
5. Retention and security
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to answer and follow up the discussion, taking account of whether a project results. Project manuscripts and working records are retained according to the agreed delivery, revision and retention arrangements. Business records may be kept for applicable accounting, statutory and claim-related periods. Technical logs are limited by their operational and security purpose and the relevant provider settings; incident records may be retained while an investigation or claim requires them. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
We use proportionate access restrictions and technical and organisational safeguards. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Please agree a suitable channel before sending particularly sensitive material.
6. Your rights
Subject to the conditions of applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular situation, and to direct marketing at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to info@szmminvest.eu. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month and will explain any lawful extension within that period. Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but without sufficient information we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal.
You may lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus at commissioner@dataprotection.gov.cy or through www.gov.cy/dataprotection, or with another competent supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first.
7. External services and changes
Google Maps and RESTITUIT links lead to separate websites; no map is embedded here. Those services apply their own policies. If you view a restricted review copy on another hosting platform, that platform separately governs its authentication and platform-level processing.
We will update this policy when relevant processing changes and display the revision date. Any new use requiring further information or consent will be addressed before it begins. Our Cookie Policy explains the current browser-storage arrangements.
